About Me

My name is Kelli, aka Kell Eye. I grew up in CT, where my grandparents owned the historic Roebling mine. I was born with a love for gems and minerals. I have dug for and collected crystals since I was quite young. I love to dig for my own crystals whenever possible. I also travel to gem shows across the nation, seeking out the perfect stones to create my art, and to share with you.

I got my shop name "Sister of Silicates" from a friend, many years ago, when I was known mostly for selling Lemurians. Back then I used to travel the country selling crystals at music festivals and events. Once I “retired” from that lifestyle, I started exploring online sales as an artist with an IG page. I used to mainly make and sell crystal grids, which are powerful healing tools. After making over 600 grids I began experiencing nerve pain, and numbness in my fingers. I slowed down on creating grids and focused on selling stones and making other kinds of art, so my nerves could heal. I don’t make a lot of grids any more, although I am still passionate about them, and I still source minerals from all over the world.

In more recent years I have developed a passion for jewelry. I have been exploring the process of casting, and even hand making jewelry. I have lots to learn, but I really love the design process. I love custom projects, and being able to connect clients with timeless heirlooms.

I am most active on my Instagram, @Kelleye_, where you can contact me with questions, or for custom orders!
